The sealing of heating package of hotpot

Would you like to have hot pot? My answer is “yes”. The reason is reliable and self-evident-it is so delicious and the enjoying circumstance is very worm. I believe no matter who are you, nobody could refuse hot pot. People is fond of having it in restaurant or families enjoy it in festivals or weekends an home. Gradually, hotpot have become the significant mark of China. However, as the time goes, being the constraint of long work-time and feel, more and more young tend to have it alone at home or office. So, self heating hot pot came out.

Self heating hotpot is divided into three parts. The top layer is a cover with air outlet. After the cover is removed, the upper layer is the inner box for the sources and food materials, and the lower layer is the outer box for the heating package.


Put the heating bag in the outer box and the food materials in the inner box. Put in the base material first, and adjust the amount according to personal taste. Vacuum packaging really takes a lot of effort. Then put in meat dishes and vegetables. If conditions permit, it's better to mix the ingredients with chopsticks, which is more conducive to the uniform heating of the ingredients. After the ingredients are putted in, take out the upper inner box, and inject a certain amount of drinking water (both hot and cold) to the corresponding scale line. Then, pour cold water into the outer box with the heating bag (remember not to use hot water), and the water can pass through the heating bag. Some of the heating bags heat faster, so it is necessary to put the inner box containing food materials into the outer box as soon as possible after water injection. There is a risk of steam burn if you leave it late. Close the cover. In addition, the heating package can keep heat dissipation for 1-2 hours.


The main ingredients of heating package are quicklime, calcium carbonate, roasted diatomite, iron powder, aluminum powder, coke powder, activated carbon and salt. The principle is "quicklime meets with water to heat" which is taught in middle school chemistry. Just pour cold water on the heating bag (attention! No hot water!) It can react with fever. The temperature of the heating package itself can be as high as 150 ℃, which is enough to make the added water boil and steam the food. So, the requirements of sealing to heating package are strict.
